Hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday season this year and that you all got lots of LEGOs for Christmas.
Can you believe it's 2010 already? It still amazes me when I have to write out the date. But along with a new year comes new things to look forward to.
One thing that I am looking forward to is all the new LEGO sets that are due to come out in 2010. We've already seen some cools sets that came out this past year like the Hoth, Endor and Tantive IV sets. I can only imagine what the LEGO group has in store for us throughout 2010.
One thing I am bummed about though was finding out that the new Star Wars MMO "The Old Republic" being produced by Bioware isn't slated for release till 2011.
But it’s only another year wait. And a year seem to go by pretty faster these days, so it will be no time until 2011 is here I'm sure.
While we wait though, I spent a little time creating some of my own concept art drawings for my friends over at the Mandalorian Brotherhood.
And I thought I would share a few of them with you all.

My Friend Matt McInnis over at Mantapus Productions has created a hilarious new Halloween Video parodying the old General Mills Monster Cereal lines. And he tasked me with the challenge of creating the Cereal Box Art for this project.
You remember “Boo Berry” and “Count Chocula”? But what if horror movie stars like “Freddie Krueger” and “Jason Voorhees” had their own Cereals? Well, it seems General Mills thought it was a good idea and so they opened up one contract for a new Monster Cereal based on one of the famous horror movie villains of recent years. Find out who gets the contract as these hilariously horrific movie Monsters fight it out for the singular honor of being immortalized not only on film but in cereal box form.

LEGO - JEDI vs Sith Minifigure Contest

I didn't have as much time as I'd hoped for this contest due to all the work I've been doing on my Comic site Prologue Comics , but still I've made a few and hopefully will get them all entered before the deadline on Monday June 15th.
I have no delusions of winning this contest considering that I'm a purest builder (meaning I don't use modified bricks.) and the fact that there have been so many great entries that I have already seen on KAM's site.
Still I enjoy the excuse to pull out my LEGOs and build some fun and interesting things. The greatest part about this contest was the "battle pack" limitation where when you build the vignette you could only use parts from a single battle pack set. This made it a lot easier for me since most of my LEGOs are still in storage so it allowed those of us without an accessible assortment of interesting pieces to compete.

LEGO - Cad Bane
This is a quick drawing I made for the "From Brick To Bothan" SW LEGO Fan forums contest where they ask you to draw a character from one of the Star Wars movies or Clone Wars TV series as a LEGO Minifigure.
Here are also some of the referance pictures I used to create this drawing.
There is another contest I hope to enter on the Kamioan's Fine Clonier Forums where they ask for a Force User or Jedi character from the Star Wars realm created in Minifig form. So hopefuly I'll have some of those to show off here after a while.

I wanted to share this piece of fan art of my LEGO built Tauntaun from the Star Wars movie "Empire Strikes Back." This is a small Lego set I designed last year and gave out as gifts this past chirstmas along with a few other small sets I came up with.
If you haven't figured it out yet I'm a bit of a LEGO Maniac. I'm currently working on updating my studio so that I can take some better pictures which will hopefuly allow me to share more of my work with you all very soon.
